In a world where climate change is no longer a distant warning but a present reality, cinema becomes a powerful voice of conscience and change. ALT EFF 2025 — the Delhi edition of the All Living Things Environmental Film Festival — co-hosted by SACAC and New Delhi Film Foundation on 6–7 December 2025, brings together global environmental cinema and local creative participation through screenings, discussions, and student competitions that inspire awareness, reflection, and action.
In an age when climate change isn’t tomorrow’s problem but today’s reality, cinema has an indispensable role to play. Visual stories — whether moving pictures or still frames — can do more than inform; they can inspire, provoke and mobilise. That is the spirit behind ALT EFF 2025 (All Living Things Environmental Film Festival), coming to Delhi on 6-7 December 2025, co-hosted by SACAC and the New Delhi Film Foundation.

Why ALT EFF?
ALT EFF is described as the world’s largest decentralised environmental film festival. For its 2025 edition it brings together 86 films from 39 countries, encapsulating a global conversation around nature, human impact, climate justice, and our shared future. ALT EFF
