Objective
New Delhi Film Foundation is a non-profit film society registered under Societies Registration Act XXI of 1860, with all India as area of operation. Its primary objective is to watch cinema, talk cinema, learn cinema and make cinema together, with an objective to create sensitivity and understanding in the society for sensible and sincere cinema. Most of the founding members are associated with journalism and filmmaking. We have been active online society more than a decade and as a registered not for profit society for the last 7 years. We have certification under 12A, 80G, NITI and CSR, making donations to NDFF income tax free.
Activities
To promote and suppot good cinema and sincere filmmaking, we have been organizing physical screenings of regional and world cinema under our Watch Cinema campaign. We hold mini offline/online seminars and discussions on the core issues related to cinema with renowned experts and inustry professionals under our Talk Cinema campaign. We are launching Learn Cinema and Make Cinema campaigns this year, in form of filmmaking workshops and Screen Writers Labs and providing platform to young talents and aspiring filmmakers. Apart from this, ‘Cinema of India’ is our one campaign that is being run all over the nation to support and promote awareness and making of good and sensible and sensitive cinema. We celebrate the masters of Indian Cinema (all the regions, all the languages), as well as support the upcoming new generation of talented and sincere filmmakers.
