नई दिल्ली फिल्म फाउंडेशन (NDFF) की पहल ‘टॉक सिनेमा ऑन द फ्लोर’ के पहले आयोजन ने आयोजन ने न केवल सिनेमा प्रेमियों और नवोदित फिल्मकारों को जोड़ने का काम किया, बल्कि NDFF के ‘मेक सिनेमा’ जैसे सार्थक अभियानों की घोषणा के साथ एक नई सिनेमाई संस्कृति की दिशा में ठोस कदम भी बढ़ाया।

‘द मिनिएचरिस्ट ऑफ जूनागढ़’ उसी दौर पर बनाई एक शॉर्ट फिल्म है, जब हवा में फैली दहशत, नफ़रत, अनिश्चितता और शक ने लोगों की बुद्धि और विवेक का काफी हद तक नाश कर दिया था। ज़माना नहीं खराब था, पर हवा खराब थी।
29 मिनट की इस शॉर्ट फिल्म की दिल्ली में पहली बार स्क्रीनिंग आयोजित की गई, जिसमें फिल्म के डायरेक्टर कौशल ओज़ा भी दर्शकों से मुखातिब हुए और उनके सवालों का जवाब दिया।
